The Forgotten Tribe: LinkedIn’s Quiet Originals

15 Oct

The Original Thinkers
(Formerly: The Thought Leaders – stripped of the performance, but not the insight)

“Here’s a thought I can’t shake. Maybe it’ll help someone else too.”

They write without a plan, and somehow land on perspective. No capital letters, no clapping emojis, no “hot takes”. Just reasoned reflection – often from years of bruises earned in boardrooms and backrooms alike.

They don’t posture as prophets; they post as practitioners. Their words are measured, but never meek. They ask questions that stay with you longer than most keynote addresses.

They don’t dominate conversations. They deepen them.

Signature moves:

  • Writes once a fortnight, but each post feels like a small masterclass.
  • Cites ideas, not people.
  • Receives fewer likes, but more bookmarks.
  • Ends not with “What do you think?”, but with “Here’s what I’m still learning.”

Self-test:
Ever written something without wondering how it’ll perform – only whether it’s true?
You might already be an Original Thinker.
