Part I – Archetype VII “The Award Buyers (Trophy Collectors)“
“Honoured to be named ‘Top 30 Under 30 in Disruptive Empathy’.”

They have more digital badges than a Boy Scout on steroids. Their banner image is a mosaic of obscure awards and dubious accolades. Did they win “Global Excellence in Agile Mindsets 2024”? Probably. Did they pay ₹15,000 for the certificate? Also, yes.
Each post is a mix of exclamation marks, gratitude, and Canva. It’s not about the work; it’s about the optics. They’re not here to connect – they’re here to be immortalised.
Signature moves:
- Announcing every nomination as if it’s the Nobel
- “So humbled to be recognised…again.”
- New “Top Voice” badge every quarter
Self-test: Ever paid to enter an award contest and then posted about how “shocked” you were to win? You’ve made it.
