I didn’t set out to write Codex Liberatus as a book. I wrote it because I couldn’t not.
Over the years, I’ve worn many labels – consultant, teacher, strategist, founder – but none of them quite capture the inner arc I’ve followed. I was born in Bhubaneshwar, raised in Kochi, and educated in Delhi, where I completed my Master’s in English Literature. My professional life has been rooted in international education, with a focus on working across geographies, building institutions, and mentoring individuals and teams.
But perhaps the most quietly transformative chapter began in Hyderabad, with the founding of the Indian Academy of Music (IAM). IAM was never just an organisation – it was a convergence of my outer work and inner questions. It gave space to the parts of me that didn’t speak in corporate language. It continues to be a mirror to my musings and a living part of my outlook.
Codex Liberatus is my first book, not born from ambition, but from necessity. I didn’t write it to instruct. I wrote it to remember. And to invite others to remember, too, what they were before the world asked them to forget.
I now live in New Delhi, consulting, mentoring, and occasionally sitting still long enough to listen to the words that arrive unannounced. This book is one such arrival.
